Chowder
In the bustling, food-obsessed city of Marzipan, Chowder is an overeager young apprentice at Chef Mung Daal’s catering company. He dreams of becoming a great chef, but his boundless appetite, distractibility, and chaotic ideas keep turning simple jobs into ridiculous misadventures. With help and scolding from Mung, Truffles, and the ever-patient Shnitzel, Chowder learns kitchen basics while dodging rival caterer Ms. Endive and Panini’s unwanted attention.
Chowder is a surreal animated comedy set in Marzipan, where nearly everything revolves around cooking, markets, and outlandish ingredients. Chowder, a well-meaning but scatterbrained young creature, begins training as an apprentice in the bustling catering shop of Chef Mung Daal. Each day brings a new assignment, from prepping rare foods to delivering elaborate orders, and each task seems to spiral when Chowder’s curiosity, cravings, or impulsive shortcuts take over. Mung tries to teach him discipline and technique, while Mung’s sharp, no-nonsense wife Truffles keeps the business running and refuses to tolerate nonsense for long. Shnitzel, the long-suffering assistant, ends up doing much of the heavy lifting and cleanup. Outside the shop, the crew constantly runs into Mung’s rival Ms. Endive and her apprentice Panini, whose persistent crush on Chowder creates awkward, funny complications. Through all the chaos, Chowder keeps chasing his dream of becoming a master chef.
