Synopsis

In the late 1860s, wealthy rancher Murdoch Lancer struggles to hold onto his land and reputation as violence and politics reshape the West. Hoping to secure an heir and stabilize his household, he brings his estranged sons into the fold: idealistic Scott and hard edged gunslinger Johnny. Their uneasy reunion sparks clashes over loyalty, justice, and how to face threats to the ranch. Day to day conflicts range from cattle disputes and corrupt power brokers to personal feuds that test the family’s fragile trust. The series mixes stand alone adventures with continuing family drama and a strong sense of place in California’s frontier
