Synopsis

Branded is a classic Western series centered on Jason McCord, a respected U.S. Army cavalry captain whose life is overturned when a charge of cowardice leads to a humiliating dismissal. Cast out with the visible symbols of his disgrace, McCord becomes a wanderer across the expanding frontier, where nearly every new town treats him with suspicion before it learns what he is made of. To survive, he works as a ranch hand, scout, guard, and hired gun, often stepping into disputes involving land grabs, crooked lawmen, feuding families, and desperate travelers. McCord’s quiet discipline and sense of justice repeatedly push him to defend people who have little power, even when doing so puts him in greater danger or deepens the stain on his reputation. Along the way he finds occasional allies and rare moments of belonging, but his larger goal remains constant: to prove his courage and restore his good name.
