Intro

Mindy Kaling is an American actor, writer, producer and director whose screen career is closely tied to the stories she helps create. Viewers may recognize Kelly Kapoor from The Office, Dr. Mindy Lahiri from The Mindy Project, or the voice of Disgust in Inside Out. Those performances use different tools: the sharp interruption within an ensemble, a romantic-comedy lead's extended story, and a vocal character developed with animators.
