Lucy Lawless

Intro

Lucy Lawless is a New Zealand actor, singer and director born in Auckland on March 29, 1968. International audiences first widely recognised her as Xena, but her later work includes science fiction, historical drama, horror-comedy and contemporary mystery. Her career also extends behind the camera: she directed the documentary Never Look Away, about New Zealand-born camera operator and journalist Margaret Moth.
