Katrina Law is an American actress known for Mira in Spartacus, Nyssa al Ghul in Arrow and Jessica Knight in NCIS. She also played Quinn Liu in the final season of the modern Hawaii Five-0 and has led several Hallmark films. The career moves between action, crime drama and romance, giving viewers useful comparisons beyond any one familiar character.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, Law trained in dance and studied theatre at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Hallmark’s biography describes her stage work in Twelfth Night and Blood Wedding, as well as her early television appearance in Third Watch. Those credits provide a foundation for the later screen work without reducing the performances to a single kind of training.
NCIS introduced Law’s Special Agent Jessica Knight in the season 18 episode Blown Away, broadcast on May 18, 2021. The episode brings her into the investigation after an explosion kills members of her REACT team. Although NCIS began in 2003, that is not Law’s joining date. Distinguishing the series premiere from the character’s arrival is essential when following a long-running ensemble.
Watch Knight’s early scenes with attention to how a new colleague enters an established group. Professional competence, grief and unfamiliar relationships can occupy the same exchange. That is a viewing prompt rather than a summary of every later storyline. It also offers a practical comparison with Law’s roles in other ensembles, where the audience may already understand the world before her character appears.
Before NCIS, Law played Mira in Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Vengeance, and became a recurring presence as Nyssa al Ghul in Arrow. Hallmark’s career biography also identifies Quinn Liu in the final season of Hawaii Five-0 and a crossover appearance in Magnum P.I. These are separate roles and productions; a familiar action setting does not make the characters interchangeable.
The Hallmark films offer another route through her work. In Snow Bride, Law plays Greta Kaine, a reporter chasing a holiday story; in 12 Gifts of Christmas, she plays Anna. Compare a romantic film’s emphasis on changing impressions with the questions of trust in an action ensemble. The stakes and tone differ, but in either setting the audience needs to understand what one person thinks of another.
Law’s career can be explored through a deliberately varied selection: an early Jessica Knight episode, an Arrow appearance and a Hallmark film. Her CBS biography also records work in The Oath and independent features, while noting her music with Soundboard Fiction. This page presents selected milestones, not a claim to every credit. The portrait shows a 2017 convention appearance, independently of the gallery’s production dates.
